Elegant Ladies Fashion Show

On April 1, I was invited to attend the 5th Annual Elegant Ladies Fashion Show here in Nashville. Ten local designers were featured, and the show included vendors as well as live musical performances.

When I attend smaller scale runway shows, I never know what to expect. But, as a stylist, these are great exposure to new designers to show my clients! I was not disappointed in the talent I saw!

The designers had such a various range of aesthetics. Each one definitely had a voice! I saw everything from streetwear, to looks that would be incredible on stage, and even a few formal wear looks and wedding dresses! In fact, I was so taken aback with one designer (Kris'ta Designs) that I am bringing her on board to help me style a client that has just hired me to help her find a dress for the most important day of her life! Her wedding day!

Any chance you get to attend a local designer's showcase, do yourself a favor and go. Get all dressed up and go see what your city has to offer as far as talent goes. You may be calling them to help you create your next look for a night out, or even when you say "I do!"
